Afghan hide Dhal shield and large hide gunpowder flask

An afghan thick hide dhal shield, the front mounted with iron circular bosses, the reverse with a fabric handpad, fabric and leather straps, and the remains of a fabric sash. Together with a large leather gunpowder flask or charger, incised allover with decoration, a long tubular spout, and an iron hanging mount with some cord remaining. 19th century.
