Indian Zirah Bouk Dagger with thickened tip and goldwork

An Indian dagger ‘Zirah Bouk’. Heavily thickened tip for piercing armour, the upper blade showing traces of a damascus or pattern welded surface, the tip presumably made from a different steel type. The hilt with good surviving gold decoration, ivory grips. A small inlet repair to one of the grip ears.   indo persian
