Tombak Gilt Copper Keris hilt from Banjarmassin Borneo with Intan stones

An attractive small size Keris from Borneo Banjarmassin region. The hilt formed from gilt-copper known as Tombak in the eastern world, finely adorned with decorative lines of Intan stones possibly diamonds, and one small red stone. The blade of pamor steel, waved and in good condition throughout, age wear and some stones lacking. A nice early example of this scarce Keris dating to the 19th century   southern asia
