Very Attractive Turkish Silver mounted Yataghan sword

Fine Turkish sword ‘Yataghan’. Very beautiful large silver mounts, with high quality decoration, hanging lugs, the locket and chape both stamped with arabic marks denoting high quality silver. Central section of scabbard with worn velvet. The sword with silver mounts to the hilt, gilt bolsters and a good quality steel blade with engravings and calligraphy to the blade. Fine condition circa 1800.
