Good antique South African Zulu studded Club
Description
A good 19th century South African club probably Zulu. Carved from one piece of wood with elongated head and turned decoration below. Studded with brass tacks allover the head, the shaft bound with finely woven brass and iron wire to form spiral patterns. Good uncleaned condition, minor fraying and splits to the wire bands but all are present and sound. 33 inches.
