Turkish Ottoman Shamshir sword

An 18th or early 19th century Turkish Shamshir sword. Strongly curved steel blade with a deep strong fuller for the entire length, thick robust spine. The mounts chiselled brass perhaps gilt with engraved decorations. The scabbard covered with black leather (worn and lower section with losses). The hilt with horn grips ( pommel area with contemporary horn repair to one side, and loss to the other).   middle east
