A good North European long left-hand dagger circa 1620 with knop shaped mouldings

Description

A nice North European long dagger . The straight blade double edged and of flattened diamond section. The hilt with two side guards and a rounded front guard decorated with trumpet shaped terminals. The hilt ending with a large rounded steel ball pommel, grip bound with twisted steel wire (some wear and loss to centre section)  and each end with finely bound ‘turks heads’. Circa 1620.
