Beautiful Demon carved Ivory Dha knife from Burma

Antique Burmese Dha knife. A wonderful carved ivory hilt depicting a grinning demon figure in a crouched seated position. The colour and wear of the ivory showing great age and use, lovely smooth surface with no damage. The lower mount a ring of brass, with very thick stout steel blade having a sharpened back edge and an inserted hardened steel cutting edge. 19th/18th century. southern asian
