Indonesian or Philippine Bamboo bow, arrows and arrow case

An interesting archery set most likely from one of the tribal groups of the southern Philippines/Mindanao, based on the appearance and materials used, and also the fact that on purchase it accompanied a small collection of Moro items. The bow of bamboo bound at intervals with finely woven cane rattan. The group of arrows all of cane with hardened wooden points inserted, and bound with cane or grass stem. A large arrow container accompanies this group which is most interesting in being constructed from a large piece of bamboo which has been shaped to allow a spike to keep the quiver stuck in the ground and accessible when shooting. The quiver has a large woven cover (end loss) coloured red and green, the centre section with cane and woven bindings and a handle.
