Early Naval Boarding or Firemans Axe 19th century

An interesting early axe, which appears to be either a Naval Boarding Axe or a Firemans axe of the early 19th century. The head is heavy and solid steel, with etched engraved designs allover and some other markings. The wooden haft appears to have had further decoration with pins or tacks at some point, all in good solid condition, a really nice collectible old piece. I,ve never seen one like this with etched decoration to the head before so maybe something a little special. Early 19th century 56 cms long
