Silver and Niello Kindjal knife or dagger from the Caucasus

 A very nice quality Kindjal type dagger from the southern Caucasus, or Northern Turkey. The sheath and hilt made from silver, finely engraved with floral decoration and profusely inlaid with black niello. The steel blade is high quality, fluted with fullers to give it immense strength yet lightness, double edged. The hilt with two large protruding silver domes to the grip front as is typical for the kindjal form. The back of the sheath has a small panel of red fabric.
