Burmese Dha sword circa 1900

Description

 A nice Burmese sword from the early part of the twentieth century. Very pleasing design and patina to the parts, the hilt with chiselled silver mounts and brass ferrule, the grip of lacquered dark wood, the blade good curved steel, single edged, with panels of silver and copper inlay at the forte including some calligraphy. The scabbard banded with copper, a name is dot punched into one side at the top. Good condition, age wear, small panel seems to be missing fro the upper grip. 86 cms long in scabbard
