Old Arab dagger Jambiya with silver

An old Arab dagger from the south of the region probably Omani. Silver mounts to the hilt and scabbard with woven silver strip to the leather of the main body. The strap original woven fabric retaining its buckle, the strap region on the sheath with thick silver rings and decorative wire cones. The dagger with typical curved steel double edged blade and raised central rib, the hilt of smooth age worn black ebony. Nice old dagger with age and character. late 19th/early 20thc.
