Description

A good quality Persian Lance head dating to the early 19th century or late 18th.  Fine steel blade with ribbed central line and thickened tip, made from crucible steel, the lower sections chiselled with two panels depicting animals fighting. The shaft hollow to take a pole, shaped with chamfers and decorated with applied gold in geometric decoration. good condition, age wear overall. 48 cms long overall
