Japanese Sodegarami Sleeve tangler part

 Part of a Japanese Sodegarami sleeve tangler weapon. This has been cut down from a full length polearm, possibly for use as a mace type weapon, and is missing the very top part. These implements were used to entangle and dismount riders enabling them to be engaged with more standard weapons. 19th century Edo period
