Unusual old Janus club from Tanzania

 A really nice old and unusual  Tanzanian club probably from the Gogo tribe. The head is carved with a ‘Janus’ style design with two opposing faces, each different, carved with ears from a single piece of wood. The shaft is smooth and well patinated, the top bound with some sort of yellowish fibre.  Pretty good condition overall , nice pleasin golden patination, tribally used piece with good age. Theres an old collection numbered sticker to one side of the head. 68 cms long
