Steel Indian shield with goldwork decoration

 A good quality Indian shield from the 19th century. Steel surface possibly damascus, with applied border and bosses with gold decoration. The main surface with traces of gold decoratino in the form of four mounted horsemen. The reverse with padded fabric lining.
