Javanese Kris Board Blawong

 A rare attractive Kris or weapons board from Java, used to hold a pair of Keris daggers. Carved from wood with characters highlighted with paint, old worn condition with an old repair. These boards were fixed near the entrance of the household in order to use the Kris magic to protect the owner from evil spirits, and to keep the kris safe and secure when not being carried.
