Beautiful Filigree silver and Turquoise mounted sword from Bhutan

 A lovely quality sword from Bhutan. Open faced wooden sheath with mounts and bands of silver the front filigree decorated with scrollwork, adorned with inset semi precious Turquoise stones. The blade of solid thick steel single edged. The scabbard and handle of a dark wood, the grip bound with silver wire. 18th or early 19th century.
