Indian or nepalese Kora/kukri

An interesting original Indian or Nepalese weapon, similar to a kukri but with a guarded bronze hilt and a ‘kora’ shaped hooked blade. Very heavy steel blade with fine shaping, and chiselled decoration along the back edge, the spine inlaid with bands of brass. The hilt with disc guards and knuckle protector. 19th century.
