Caucasian kindjal dagger from Daghestan circa 1850

Good quality antique Georgian Kindjal, the large steel blade double edged, single deep fuller along its length, the front face adorned with a gold panel of ornament. The hilt of solid black horn, iron mounts and hanging band again ornamented with applied gold designs. The sheath covered with black hide, ivory finial to the tip. Good condition. Second half 19th century.
