Indo Persian Char Aina Body armour Cuirass with Bazu band armsguards

A nice 18th or 19th Indo Persian Armour ‘Char Aina’.  The four plates hinged together to make a single piece, with buckles to take straps at the front sides and top edge front and back. Reinforced with a thickened edge, complete with matching bazu bands armguards with applied fretted border and raised element at the wrist point, pierced to take a lining and with some mail links remaining to the cuffs. These pieces remain uncleaned and have a black patination allover. Rare armor to find. Good condition
