Good quality Thai Dha sword with fine repousse silverwork 18th century

A fine quality large size Dha sword from Thailand. The silver mounts of superb quality workmanship, very deeply worked in repousse with panels and friezes of flowers and motifs. The grip bound with alternating colours of woven fibre/rattan cord. The blade of unusual profile, thick and with clipped concave tip, in good condition, retaining its uncleaned dark patination. 18th/early 19th century. Approx 33 inches long.
