Gold decorated Indian Tulwar sword

 Fine indian gold sword tulwar, the handle surviving in superb condition with almost all of its goldwork inlay remaining. The curved steel blade also in wonderful pristine condition, sharp and fullered, with unusual engraved characters along both sides at the top, large yelman like sharpened back edge. The scabbard covered with red velvet and retaining a small silver chape at its tip, and a gilt hanging band.  Circa 1800.  indo persian
