Fine Early Arab sword from the Horn of Africa

A very nice early Arab sword from the Horn of Africa, probably Zanzibar, Omani style silver mounts to the scabbard with embroisered woven sash.  Heavy example of this early sword type.. European blade with traces of makers stamps, the top side retaining a large inked paper label in German which appears to read "Arab sword, captured on July 15 '89, assault of Sanga".  The hilt of horn, the thick iron hand guards of very fine quality, including a pierced section of fretwork. A fine piece
