Congolese Bow and arrows
A wooden bow from the Congo, one end bound with beaten copper and iron strip. The other end wrapped with the cord bowstring. Together with four arrows, with a variety of heads, one being a square section thickened tip for stunning rather than penetration. The fletchings applied with great care and detailing, and in very good condition. This bow is strong enough to be fired, and is surprisingly powerful!. 20th century.
