An exceptional pair of Balkan Ottoman silver pistols Kubur
A very finely made pair of pistols from Bosnia. The stocks fully covered with extremely fine silver-gilt filigree wire, embellished with set red stones and niello accents. The steelwork - lockplate, cock and pancover, trigger guard all very finely engraved with scrollwork decoration. The barrels chiselled and shaped, inlaid with ilsver and gold including a calligraphic panel to the breech. A very fine presentation brace of pistols, circa 1800.
